What is the best design a balsa wood bridge? - balsa bridge clipart

What is the optimal design of a bridge made of balsa wood? Links to images and ideas very much appreciated, the bridge can not be done, but the steam can to allow the curves.

If you have any ideas, proposals for the bridge design and presentation also very grateful! Thank you!

1). You can make a Pratt truss design (Google it)
2). You can span type I-beams, two large horizontal plates, with a vertical plate to each other like a lazy H. Many of these side by side attached may be required.
3). Since the curves are licensed you can take a long flat piece and fold it in a radius of steam. Time / place for a long flat board paste on the sheet. The two ends of the support by wood between the ceiling and the upper plate.
Good luck!

I have this type of bridge for a competition, which contain about 130 lbs.:

Take a piece of balsa wood and put it on a large clamp to hold it in a curve. Glue spread on the surface. Use tweezers to stop a second piece of balsa wood at the top. Repeat a few. When you are finished, tie a piece of fishing line between the ends of the bridge. They come and go about 10 times and that's all.
